Another good video for new people. Concisely elaborates the origin and development of linux, why it’s best for privacy, and gives a brief overview of the distros. He shows how ubuntu is the best for beginners… As someone first coming to the group as a newbie I wish the group would have turned me on to this video. I know there has been chatter about how to attract more users, equally important is how to support them and keep them coming back.

PS why do I get messages like this when I send an email to the freelist?

I have spent several hours trying to find out why I have no thesaurus in my libre office. all the online fixes don't work. here is what I've
tried so far.

Any ideas?

devi, I'm going out of my mind! Been messing with this all day.
I discovered the version of libre office on my other computer has the thesaurus with a simple right click. So I set out to find and download that version and learned how to install a deb file. Trying to use the terminal I get this message

I copied the name of the file exactly, wtf dude?
