Announcements:

• Ubuntu 22.10 was released on 20 October after a bug fix delayed its release by a few hours. Remember it is only supported for 9 months. We recommend that you stick with LTS releases for your daily driver.
• An LiFi update presentation was given at the University of Arizona South on 20 October sponsored by IEEE.
• The next IEEE presentation will be in December and the subject will Block Chain.
• Beginner Linux classes are being considered for the Warrior Healing Center starting with the new year.
• Three computers have been donated to veterans at the Warrior Healing Center.

Discussion/Problems/Questions:

• Discussed dual booting with Microsoft Windows and with Apple OS. Because of the complications with Apple OS if a dual boot is desired the use of an external drive is recommended or installation in a VM.
