Recent Linux/FOSS News Items:
- A new Linux kernel, 5.10, was released on 14 December. Several days later 5.10.1 was released
- The end date for support for CentOS 8 has changed from 2029 to 2021. As a result a new OS, Rocky Linux, has been released by the developer of CentOS.

Discussion/Problems/Questions:
- Raffle tickets were passed out to the guests eating at 143 Street Tacos. The drawing was held at at 1400 and Annette was the lucky winner of a free renovated IBM R52 Thinkpad with a Linux OS installed
- Raffle tickets were then passed out to attending members and Ted was the lucky winner of a second IBM R52 Thinkpad. He donated it to Mike for his project in Bisbee.

- Discussed hard drive backups and the need for them
Aftermath:
- Members who had not eaten before or during the meeting stayed after the meeting to enjoy some of the excellent Street Taco cuisine
