- Installfest After Action Report
- The University of Arizona South tentative free lectures for the Fall Semester will hopefully include: the new 5G system, the Dark Web, Bitcoins, and BlockChain. These are free so plan to attend if you have an interest.
- There were two installations planned. The first (Ubuntu) was finished during the meeting and the second (Xubuntu) was completed after the conclusion of the meeting.
- Ted suggested a project for the Group, recondition as many of the 9 laptops (as possible) that he had obtained at auction and then donate them to individuals. More information will be provided later via the mailing list.
Aftermath:
- We retired to Peter Piper Pizza to enjoy some food and continue our conversations on Linux and FOSS topics. An impromptu birthday celebration was also conducted for David Garcia who will celebrate his birthday tomorrow.
