- To date we have donated 258 computers to individuals or groups. This year alone we have donated 37.
- And conducted 422 installs on laptops and desktops. This year alone we have installed 81.
- We have 40 people on our mailing list, 59 members on our Facebook page.
- We have 8 desktop computers and 1 laptop computer ready for donation.
Discussion and Activities:
- Discussed the relative increase in speed when using a new cutting edge kernel. Not always noticeable.
- Discussed advantage of having a Ubuntu Hour dedicated to meeting and talking to other Linux users where the discussion is not necessarily limited to Ubuntu topics and there is not always a need to stay on topic.
- Discussed general Linux and Ubuntu topics.
