Since many of you have some extra time on your hands, you may be
interested in reading some informative articles.

Of course they are merely different desktop environments. You are not limited to the standard default gnome desktop environment. There are others out there and they all are only released in 64 bit versions.

It discusses UbuntuEd 20.04 which appears to be a revival of the old EdUbuntu which was discontinued in 2014. The educational application bundles are Pre-school for ages <6, Primary for ages 6-12, Secondary for ages 13-18, and Tertiary for University students.
