I have some good news and some better news.  First, the good news. One of our members, Lynn, discovered an office building that houses various not for profit organizations that support our veterans at 1834 Paseo San Luis in Sierra Vista.  I talked with the owner and told him briefly what we do and what we have done.  He would be happy to have us participate.  There is a conference room available that will hold 30 plus people.  The conference room has a very large wall mounted TV that can be used for presentations.  It would be ideal for our monthly meetings, installfests, computer repair workshops, Linux presenations, and just about anything else we wanted to use it for.  In addition they have a computer lab which we could take over should we desire.  They are willing to accept computers with a Linux operating system installed on them to be set up in the computer lab and he is sure that some of the veterans would like computers with Linux.  The owner himself is a Linux user.  The better news is that all of this is free.  As we are growing and continue to do more things we will soon outgrow the library conference room.  This seems to be a viable next step.  We will discuss this option at our next meeting on Saturday 27 July 2019 at the SV public library.
