Well, I’ve spent 3 days trying to fix, going nuts! Sorry to bother u guys: I assume no one clug is using the unity desktop, but I’ve tried everything I can find online with no success.

I’m using unity on ubuntu 20.04. On this and my other computers I Installed the unity tweak tool and have been using the GTK theme. I changed the themes in the setting the other day trying to do something, and it messed with my GTK theme. When I launch the unity tweak tool now the gtk theme is listed, but it won’t let me click on it.

I have rebooted the computer, I have purged and reinstalled unity tweak. I’m trying to find out if the GTK theme is in the themes directory, but see what happens: terminal says the directory does not exist, however, it also says I can’t make the themes directory because: “the file exits”

Maybe I don’t know how to change to a hidden directory??? But reinstalling the tweak tool should have installed everything needed???

I feel like I ought to make an excuse for not coming to meetings: I’m 76 these days and only leave home about every two weeks to drive into Benson. My antique VW is not that reliable, and I have issues with the lights. So, driving to SV is a big deal for me...however, I do plan making Rex’s expose on the snap manager in August.
