Yeah, sorry that I did not attend. I was at the library today, which is the funny thing. I was with a friend that was studying for some classes he was behind on, and gave him a ride.
IEEE computer society?! Really interesting! Any more details on that?

In addition to the Cochise Linux User Group, there exists one other
computer group in Sierra Vista and two in Tucson. The one in SV is
called Mountain View Computer users Group http://www.mvcug.org/.
The two in Tucson (that I am aware of) are the Tucson Computer
Society, Linux SIG http://www.aztcs.org/sigs/linux.shtml and the
Tucson Free UNIX Group http://www.tfug.org/. The TFUG was mainly a
mailing list but they lost their host and I believe that they have
disbanded. Not sure about that. The other two have monthly
physical meetings. The proposed Fort Huachuca IEEE Computer Society
may or may not have separate meetings from our own meetings and will
exist as a subordinate of the Fort Huachuca IEEE Branch. More
information can be obtained by contacting Professor John DeLalla at
the University of Arizona South jd@arizona.edu.
