I am trying to setup a Linux Ubuntu computer for someone who likes games but has no internet connection, and can’t afford to pay an ISP.  I’m not a gamer, so I have no clue what’s good in terms of games.

What they would like is classical solitaire, classical Poker, and Poker – (Texas Hold-em).  It has to run on a PC running Ubuntu 18.04 (but would consider other flavors of Linux).

Any assistance/recommendations would be appreciated.  I know nothing about games.  Yes, I have searched the internet, but all I seem to get is alien hunters, save the galaxy, or free games that you have to play online.

If you know of a game package that has all (or at least most) of the above and additional games that would be a real plus.

Which is someone forking “gnome-hearts” which was included in ubuntu 16 and lower.. which was removed in ubuntu 18..

So you can either try to install the QT fork from GitHub… or attempt to install Gnome-hearts from the package manager and hope that works..  YMMV
