Announcements:

  • To date we have donated 243 computers to individuals or groups. Last year we donated 72. This year we have donated 22.

  • To date we have conducted 407 installs on laptop and desktop computers. Last year we conducted 88. This year we have conducted 66.
  • We have 40 people on our mailing list, 57 people on our Facebook page, and 11 people on our Discord channel.
  • We have 12 desktop computers and 4 laptop computers ready for donation.

  • 24 November, “How to prepare Linux install media for your computer” by Rex Bouwense

Discussion/Activities:

  • Discussed how to create a shortcut for a web site on your landing page
  • Discussed the pros and cons of adding personal files to a USB flash drive with Ventoy installed on it.

Aftermath:

  • Several members retired to Culver’s to enjoy a meal and to continue to discuss Linux and CLUG related topics.
