Community projects updates:

• West End Fair 6 May 2017. This years project manager is Louie Garcia.
• The July Installfest project manager is Greg Christ.

Discussion:

• A web site that may be of interest to many of the members who use Ubuntu or Mint is hhtps://sites.google.com/site/easylinuxtipsproject/Home It provides helpful hints and tips to make your computing experience better.
• The Group now has 2 towers that are completely operational, 2 towers that are not, 2 laptops that are operational, and one that is not, plus computer parts (hard drives, cables, power cords, fans, power supplies, adapters, DVD drives, etc.) that were mainly donated by Bruce Adamson. If you need something or know of someone who needs something, check with Rex Bouwense who for the moment is the keeper of said items.
• There will be a free lecture on “The Internet of Things” sponsored by the UA South on 31 March at Groth Hall, Public Meeting Room, 5-6 PM. More information to follow as it becomes available.
• The CLUG meeting scheduled for 27 May 2017 at the Sierra Vista public library conference room may be canceled since the library will be closed on that day. We are searching for an alternate location. More information to follow.
