Sierra Vista Installation Festival – 28 January 2017, 1000-1600

  • Install media for Ubuntu, Xubunt, Lubuntu, and Ubuntu Mate is on hand in both i386 and amd 64 (USB flash drives and DVDs)
  • We have the server and now a switch and two routers that can be used for the project as well as a dozen CAT 5 cables of varying length.
  • The release of liability statement has been completed..
  • The test of the server and the switches did not go well. Kudos to David Garcia who looked at it on Thursday and corrected the problem (a dead USB port) in about a minute.

Community projects update:

  • Presentation for high/middle school computer clubs - Chris Braswell, project manager. No update at the current time.
