FW: seeking recommendations on text to speech software

From Gene Zastera · Dec 10, 2023

Subject: seeking recommendations on text to speech software

Anybody out there have any experience/knowledge of text to speech software?

Looking for free software that will take a text file and “read” it to someone with limited vision due to macular degeneration.

Any platform will do (linux, windows, mac).

I know it’s  a longshot, but I thought I’d try asking.

Thanks in advance.

There are several AI tools. I’ve used this with success in the past: https://dubverse.ai/text-to-speech/#:~:text=AI%2Dpowered%20text%2Dto%2D,text%20to%20speech%20for%20free.
