Hey, Mr. Devi Garcia, would you please consider pushing your emails less often, and making your emails more interesting than a link? Maybe if you really like giving people links, could you compile them into a bunch of links and send them in one email per week? I keep getting notifications on my phone at the stupidest times and it really isn't work looking at when I'm doing something else, to be blunt with you.
I don't want to unsubscribe to the mailing list, because I want to keep updated with important stuff with Cochise Linux.

There are several ways to pass information to the members of the Cochise
Linux User group; the regular meetings and events of the group, our IRC
channel (which is really under-used), and the mailing list. This
information takes the form of problems or questions that a member may
have about his/her operating system or other software, announcements
about meetings or events (mainly from the leaders of the group), and
links to articles that have been written which may or may not be of
interest to some of the membership. Since we only physically meet twice
a month the mailing list allows us to stay in touch at other times. If
you do not want to receive some of these emails you are free to create a
filter to send them directly to trash or any other folder that you want
to be read at a later date.

I'm just trying to say that it is too much to send to everyone. From a marketing standpoint, it's not really welcoming to users if they are bogged down with a bunch of stuff in their inbox. Is there a reason I need to be emailed 3-5 links a day with nothing interesting in the email but the link? I have other things I am doing throughout the day.
Can't you send links over IRC if it's really that interesting that you have to share it? It just seems more appropriate for a more instant messaging platform the way he's doing it. I'm saying it would be nice if he would please consider compiling his links into one email and sending them less often.
