Search engine results
From strife is justice · Oct 20, 2025
The common search engines are designed to not bring forth the desired results, instead the search engine results are a marketed product. The search engine results are not neutral, the results are a “pay to play” marketing ploy causing more time and effort seeking the desired information. Duck Duck Go’s ploy is promoting a “privacy”, though its results are just a piping of Apple, Bing, and probably Google indexes. During the Saturday Linux meeting the subscription search engine Kagi was suggested, the search experience being phenomenal, especially for heavy internet users. The time saved and useable search results are a substantial. Kagi offers a no cost 100 searches. Regards
