There is a meeting of the Cochise Linux User Group on Wednesday the 14th
at the University of Arizona South, Sierra Vista campus from 5 to 6 pm.
We will be meeting in the Learning Resource Center. Be there is you
can. There are a few things that we need to discuss reference the
Installfest on the 28th of January.

The regular Cochise Linux User Group Meeting will take place on Saturday, 24 October from 1300-1545 at 143 Street Tacos, 80 S. Carmichael Ave.  Ted will be giving his hands on presentation on "Rejuvenating Your Computer" followed by a short presentation by me on "Creating a Bootable Flash Drive" which will terminate in a workshop where you will be assisted in creating a bootable flash drive for your distribution of choice.  So bring your laptops and an empty flash drive (at least  4 GBs in size).  If you do not have a laptop but still desire to create a bootable flash drive bring an empty one and we will help you with the installation.  The "Put and Take" box will be present for your perusal.  We will of course answer any questions and attempt to solve any problems that attendees present.  Street Tacos has a very extensive menu (even vegan items) and arguably serve the best tacos in Sierra Vista so we will be able to eat to our hearts delight before, during, and after the meeting.  See you there.  Bring a family member, a friend, a co-worker, or a neighbor and introduce then to Linux and Free and Open Source Software.
