This Saturday, the 28th of October, the Cochise Linux user Group
will be conducting its 3rd Installfest of the year at the University of
Arizona South, 1140 N. Colombo Ave. in the Learning Resource Center
1000-1600 Hours. If you haven't already signed up to participate and
want to do so please contact Rex or Greg. If you cannot participate,
stop by at any time during the event to show your support. Those who
are participating will appreciate it. If you know someone who might be
interested tell them about it.
Also scheduled this week is a Ubuntu Hour at Schlotzsky's Cafe on
Thursday, the 26th of October, 1800-1900. While this is touted as a
social get together and the conversation ranges from Ubuntu and other
Linux operating systems to Open Source Software other topics are often
discussed. We have even conducted an installation at one meeting.
Attend if you can.
