For those of you that have not been attending our monthly meetings on
the fourth Saturday of every month, we will be meeting at the Warrior
Healing Center, 1838 Paseo San Luis, on this Wednesday 17 August,
1800-1900 (6-7 pm). The primary purpose of the meeting is to discuss
whether we should move our monthly meetings to a weekday (after working
hours). It was brought to our attention that Saturday meetings can
possibly interfere with weekend plans, activities with the family, and a
host of other activities. Please attend this meeting to express your
opinion. We obviously cannot accommodate everyone but we want to do what
is best for the majority of the group and to increase the attendance at
these monthly meeting where information is presented on various programs
that may be of interest to you. Past presentations have been on
Security, the use of Thunderbird, Snap vs Flatpack vs AppImage, Web
Applications. While you may not have interest in all of these programs,
some like how to reset a lost password or how to create a bootable flash
drive do come in handy. Plus, we do solve problems and answer questions
that members present.
