SPAM reporting issues

From Rex Bouwense · Aug 06, 2021

I have received a report from freelists, org that one of the subscribers to our mailing list has reported a posting from our mailing list as SPAM.  If you suspect that list traffic that you received is SPAM please do not report it as SPAM even if it is.  Notify me and I will handle the situation.  Remember that our mailing list is only to be used for;  sending notifications of upcoming events, sending minutes of our meetings and reports of our events, asking questions and/or solving problems associated with your Linux operating systems, and providing information on Linux operating systems or Free and Open Source Software that you believe other members may have an interest.
If you no longer want to receive this information you may unsubscribe from the mailing list.  To unsubscribe from this mailing list please send an email to cochiselinux-request@freelists.org with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field.  Thank you.

Rex,
I'm in California now. I'm using the program and managing. But you know what? You did me a good turn, I can see it's going to work. Thanks.

So this is a straight up apology for crying about my slow learning abilities. I remember what you said about giving people one chance. Don't know if any of this constitutes a breach... we can talk about real things... i don't want to lose that.

Yeah, it must have been me that spammed the list. You made it clear that it was no use to me. I did my best to unsubscribe...I fucked up. Hope people aren't pissed, wasn't my intention. Paul
