10 July, Sierra Vista Ubuntu Hour, 1800-1900, Schlotzsky’s Cafe, 3900 Fry Blvd, Sierra Vista.
Announcements:
To date we have donated 184 computers to individuals or groups

and conducted 281 installs on laptops and desktops
We have 35 people on our mailing list and 52 members on our Facebook page.
We have 4 desktop computers ready for donation, two of which has been promised to Apache Elementary School.
Discussion and Activities:
Discussed how Linux is better for the average user than Microsoft Windows.
Discussed why we install Ubuntu for a new user.
Pointed out the website of the Western North Carolina Linux User Group who tapes their meetings and presentations and posts them on You-Tube. This may be something that we want to do.
