Ubuntu Hour

From MajB · Sep 25, 2015

A Ubuntu Hour was held on 24 September 2015 at Schlotzsky's Cafe on Fry
Blvd from 6-9 pm. Eventually the discussion moved to the Cochise Linux
User Group since many present are also members of the CLUG. Many of
those present expressed the desire for a second monthly CLUG meeting on
a Saturday to accommodate some people who have classes during the week,
work later, or are just unable to regularly attend a weekday meeting. I
am open to the idea but felt the need to bring this request to the
entire membership for comments. We will of course discuss this at the
next regular meeting which is still scheduled for 21 Oct. Please submit
any comments that you have or bring them with you and present them at
the next meeting.
A friendly reminder, there is a University of Arizona Continuing
Education free lecture on The Internet of Things on 6 October from 5-7
pm. in room C165A North. Please attend if you can.

Ubuntu Hour

From Rex Bouwense · Jun 06, 2021

The Cochise Linux User Group will host a Ubuntu Hour on Thursday 10 June 2021 from 1800-1900 (6-7 pm) at Schlotzsky's, 3900 E. Fry Blvd. in Sierra Vista.  While primarily a social event, there is always discussion of Ubuntu, Linux, and Free and Open Source Software.  If you have a problem or a question we will attempt to solve it or provide an answer before the end of the meeting.  We will be discussing the preparations for our next Linux Workshop.  Everyone is welcome, so bring a family member, a friend, a neighbor, or a co-worker and introduce them to the wonderful world of Linux operating systems while enjoying a great sandwich and and a cup of coffee or soda.
