[link] LibreOffice 6.3 Drops 32-bit Linux Builds

From Devi Garcia · Jun 04, 2019

The first beta candidate of LibreOffice 6.3 is out — and it brings
some bad news for 32-bit Linux desktop users.

Ahead of an expected summer release, The Document Foundation has today
issued a call for testing on the first beta of what will become the
next major version of its free office suite, LibreOffice.

Is the lack of support for 32-bit operating system going to affect our Linux user group community?  How common are 32-bit operating systems these days?

Read the article.  It only talks about the new beta release of LibreOffice.  Previous releases are still being supported.  Of course you will not have the new bleeding edge but they will still be quite functional and will be supported.  There are still many OS's that are supporting 32 bit computers and that will continue for a little while anyway.  You can even still download Ubuntu minimal in 32 bit.  Remember there are over 350 Linux OS out there.
