 Hey guys, it's been a while. One of these days I want to make it over to a meeting.
 It seems whenever I do a distribution upgrade on Ubuntu, I get pissed off. From Ubuntu 16.04, I miss Unity Desktop where you could do control + alt + numpad to move around windows on the screen. Also I miss how the top bar actually had stuff relevant to the current focused window--now it's a waste of screen real estate.

 It seems whenever I do a distribution upgrade on Ubuntu, I get pissed off. From Ubuntu 16.04, I miss Unity Desktop where you could do control + alt + numpad to move around windows on the screen. Also I miss how the top bar actually had stuff relevant to the current focused window--now it's a waste of screen real estate.

 Now that I've switched from Ubuntu 20.04 to 24.04, I'm now pissed off that control + shift + printscreen now no longer works. It doesn't even work to use add a keybinding and use the "gnome-screenshot -ac" command because it "gnome-screenshot" is basically deprecated ( https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/gnome-screenshot/-/work_items/216#note_2636675 where "Emmanuele Bassi" said "GNOME Screenshot is unused in GNOME, and unmaintained" ). Even their annoying interactive tool doesn't allow paste-to-clipboard, so now I have to manually do everything.

For Your Information, Ubuntu Unity has been and is an official
"flavor" of Ubuntu.  However, the 26.04 version that was released
on 23 April is not a LTS so it is only supported for 9 months. 

For Your Information, Ubuntu Unity has been and is an official "flavor" of Ubuntu.  However, the 26.04 version that was released on 23 April is not a LTS so it is only supported for 9 months.  The lead developer is dropping out of the picture to further his education.  There are people standing in line to take his place but the team has yet to apply for LTS status for Ubuntu Unity 26.04.  If you want LTS stay with 24.04.4.
