was requested we had books for new comers to the group and I had mentioned I already had a dropbox folder I shared that was already filled with books for this specific reason so here is the link again for anyone who would like to look through the said books..

Wow! I printed the whole article on "Things to do After Installing Ubuntu" and am working through the list.
My install is not "fresh," I've had it installed and have been playing with it for about two months now. I'm at the second tip, Enable Partner Repositories, and can't check the box for Canonical Partners. The whole box grays out.
I tried attaching pics of the Software & Updates box before and after clicking on the Canonical Partners box but the screen shots were too large.
Do you think this means that Canonical Partners is already enabled?
