There’s more to this story than I ever expected to find. A DVD of “Windows 12 Lite” appeared at a computer fair and was posted on Reddit, it turned out to be Linux Lite with a Windows 10 wallpaper. So was it a bad joke or a bad derivative claiming all the glory whilst giving nothing to upstream?
