For those of you that attend the meetings you may remember that a
presentation was given on this very subject and YES, READ the
article at the link. In MOST cases we do not want to be screwing
around by creating a root password or changing one that has been
created. Changing a password that elevates an authorized user to
use sudo privileges is another matter. (I chose the wrong reply
option so bare with me.)
