Check out Qubes-OS. You essentially create Vms for each individual type of applications you're using. There's one VM that uses the whonix gateway for true anonymous capabilities with all traffic routes through TOR.

Another option is TAILS - The Amnesiac Incognito Live System. Install it to a USB stick and boot to it, do your anonymous browsing and then reboot to return to your regular operating system. You can enable persistent storage so that your settings and history are saved.
