A Victory For Xubuntu!

Hey guys,
I had setup my grandfather with Xubuntu about two years ago, and he was optimistic at first, but he started to be convinced that his illegal copy of Windows from his random Hispanic friend (that probably screwed him and stole parts from him) was better than the copy of Xubuntu I put on his computer. He ONLY uses the web browser, so switching operating systems was not a loss. The problem was that he thought because he was using Windows he never has to sign in to Google (or "gmail" as he knew it as). As soon as I pressured him to sign in to Google in Chromium, he magically had no more problems with Xubuntu, and stopped restarting the computer to switch back to Windows each time he forgot.
Anyway, I'm happy for the win. He is no longer using an illegal copy of Windows, and he is now a part of the world of Free and Open Source Software. :)

Excellent. Many older computer users only use the computer for email
(which is most cases is Gmail or Hotmail - the predecessor of
MicroSoft's Outlook), browsing the Internet, and/or watching videos.
They may create the odd document as well but very few want or need the
expansive capabilities of MicroSoft Office (or Libre Office for that
matter). These people are excellent candidates for a Linux Operating
System and who knows they may decide to use their computer for other
things as well once they become familiar with its capabilities and aware
of the world of Free and Open Source Software.
