Announcements:

• To date we have donated 142 computers to individuals or groups

(Cheryl L with her laptop)

and conducted 238 installs on laptops and desktops.

• We have 30 people on our mailing list and 45 followers on our Facebook page.
• We have 1 desktop computer and 1 laptop computer ready for distribution.

Discussion and Activities:

• Discussed a problem that arose with Bit Locker that can occur with FOSS encryption programs. If you use them make sure that you save the unlock code in a cloud, on your machine , on a flash drive. If it is forgotten your data may be lost forever.
• Discussed moving to Linux from Microsoft Windows.
• Discussed using Docker.
