Discussion:
- Discussed the presentation that was given at the UA South (Cyber Security Law and Regulation Trends) on 27 September.
- Chris Braswell discussed his installation of Ubuntu on his new machine. His son did the installation.
- Roland Bockhurst discussed his drone project and his anticipated use of a Raspberry Pi to film activities.
- Discussed the manning requirements and advertising needs for the upcoming Installfest (28 October).
- Discussed a learning technique that may be used at the CLUG meetings: Assign “homework” to be completed for the next meeting. It was agreed that it has possibilities but requires further thought.
- Discussed some basic differences between Linux and Microsoft Windows e.g. the file system and the UFW.
