Discussion/Problems/Questions:

  • A member asked when you boot from a flash drive how does the computer know to boot from the hard drive at the next boot. He was introduced to the boot priorities in the BIOS. If the first is not present, the computer goes to the second, and so on.
  • One member was assisted in creating a bootable flash drive for his desktop computer at his home.

Aftermath:

  • While some of the members enjoyed the great Mexican food before the meeting and even during the meeting, there were some that waited until the meeting was concluded to get together and eat and continue discussing flash drives and their use.
